日本浅尾政行执导的SM情欲片;一个公司的总裁的对头为了陷害他,将他的妻子和女儿绑架,百般凌虐后将带上面具的她们放在总裁乘坐的客车上,在和两个女人做完爱后,解开面具,总裁才发现和他做爱的原来是他的女儿,与他同来的老板对应的是自己的妻子,在他目瞪口呆的表情下片子结束。解析:硬核导演的影像特征在日本6、70年代的粉红色浪潮中,出了很多情色导演。有人索性来了个排名,列出日本那个时代的四大情色导演,有列的是寺山修司、神代辰己、若松孝二、大岛渚;有列的是增村保造、若松孝二、神代辰已、寺山修司。现在有人提出,要把田中登和西村昭五郎也列进四大之列。若是以作品多少来排名次的话,西村昭五郎要比作品寥寥的寺山修司多很多,但若以精致程度来看,他则是要稍逊一筹。但是,从这里可以看出西村在日本情色电影界中的重要性。从开创一个类型片的角度来看,他还是完全可以被称为大师的。因此,有人将他与日本的情色片开山导演武田铁二并称。无疑,西村昭五郎的作品大多是以硬核为主。影片从主体构架上,颇似小沼胜的《箱中女》,都是劫持——虐待——爱上虐待的桥段。在这个老套的畸恋桥段中,西村安排了所有的硬核情色作品所该有的东西。开始是大庭秀纪对女病人的猥亵,接着又是与助手做爱。在第二组猥亵女病人的镜头中,把手插入女人下体的镜头虽然没有让人看到关键的隐私部位,但其大胆程度可见一斑。戏剧化的发展还在后边,女病人竟然是一个同性恋。而在女病人受尽了大庭秀纪的残害之后,竟然喜欢上了这种生活。在增村保造1969年的《盲兽》之中就有这种被虐之爱的描写,但那种被虐是男女双方的,而在本片之中则只是对女性的戕害。这种对女性的虐待喜好一直在西村的影片中存在。并且,他还喜欢夸大虐待的过程,制造一系列的感观刺激。也许,就是因为对感官刺激的执着,才使他排名在各大师之后吧。不过,正是这种直接的感官刺激,再加上用镜方面的极为大胆,才创造了他特有的影像风格艾旦影视

  Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.  Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?  n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.  What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.  On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.  One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.  Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
